My experience with Gilbert Assistant Living care givers has been nothing less than amazing. Caring for a loved one from a distance can be daunting if you don’t have the support. As a Houston resident, caring for my Aunt living in Beaumont, required me to find a facility and people I could trust. Over these last 2 years, Ronald and Quananda Morrow, along with every nurse, care giver and staff member, have proven to be trustworthy. Recently, when faced with concerning situation with a different center providing care, Gilbert’s team took it upon themselves to address my concerns with my aunt. Their immediate action taken helped to prevent an escalating situation with my aunt. That level of compassion meant so much to me. The root word of compassion means to suffer with. Gilbert Assisted Living care givers exemplify compassion on a daily basis to every resident in the facility. I am forever grateful to each person who has been there for my aunt. My husband was diagnosed with Dementia and had to be put in a nursing home. I was not satisfied with the care the nursing home was providing and felt that I needed to be with my husband 24/7 to make sure he was okay. This was very stressful and harmful to my wellbeing. Gilberts Assisted Living has been a "God Send" for me. I was a caregiver for both my Husband and my mother who had Alzheimer's. I found Gilberts assisted living by accident and it was the most wonderful thing ever. There is no comparison to this assisted living and the "large" corporate owned machines! They are caring, compassionate, attentive and really CARE about their clients. The small, almost one on one care, that your loved ones get EVERY day is phenomenal. I can't recommend Gilberts Assisted Living enough! If you are looking for a "home" environment to place your loved ones this is the place to go!

When my husband got sick and he was not able to come home, because I was not able to give him the care he needed, he was placed at Gilbert's assistant living home. I found the staff there were very nice passionate about the care of each person there. Each time I was able to go see my husband I was greeted with a smile and they let me know how his night went. My Dad stayed at Gilbert Assisted Living for over a year and a half. The care he got was excellent. I was determined not to put him in a nursing home when he got to where he could not take care of his self, so when I found Gilbert Assisted Living and met Ron’s staff it was such a relief. A private home is the way to go vs a nursing home. I would give Ron and his staff 5 stars!!

I can’t express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my grandmother received at Gilbert's Assisted Living. From the moment she arrived, the staff treated her with genuine kindness, respect, and love. They went above and beyond every day — singing to her, reading the Bible with her, and creating a warm, comforting environment where she felt truly at home, especially during the uncertain times of COVID.
